Joe Biden’s inauguration wasn’t the only presidential event this week – as the president’s rescue dog Major got his very own ceremony.

The indoguration was held to welcome the First Dog to the White House and the event raised more than $200,000 (£146,000) for dog shelter charities.

The German shepherd was adopted by the Biden family in 2018 and has just become the first rescue dog to live in the White House. He’s moved in, along with his brother Champ who has been a Biden since 2008 and isn’t as new to the paw-litics scene. BBC NEWS
