New images believed to be of BBC presenter Michael Mosley in the southeastern Aegean island of Symi after he is thought to have gone missing on Wednesday afternoon, came to light on Friday.
”We are not losing hope”, says Michael Mosley’s wife, while the search operations to locate the 67-year-old British presenter in Symi are in full swing.
In her statement, Dr. Claire Bailey Mosley notes that the days since his disappearance are “endless and unbearable”.
“It’s been three days since Michael left the beach to go for a walk. They are the most endless and unbearable days, for me and my children,” she said.
The police and local authorities are looking for him in inaccessible areas, while many believe he may have fallen into the sea and been swept away by the waves.
Mosley had been swimming at the remote beach of Agios Nikolaos on Wednesday afternoon when he reportedly told his wife that he would hike to the village of Pedi and then visit the house of some British friends. A woman from the village of Pedi testified that she saw the TV presenter in the village at around 2.20 p.m. on Wednesday.
