Turkey threatens Greece (and Europe) with ‘Casus Belli’ ignoring the International Law

Share

Just three days before the resumption of exploratory contacts between Athens and Ankara, Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu reminded Greece that in the event it extends its territorial waters in the Aegean it will be a cause for war, or casus belli

But Greece, following the International Law has already decided to extend its territorial water to12 nautical miles.

At the same time, European Union appears to have softened its stance on the issue of sanctions against Turkey for its violations of Cyprus’ exclusive economic zone.

Meanwhile, only USA decided to put sanctions against Turkey over purchase of Russian S-400 missile system.

The Turkish President seems anxious as he’s waiting for the decisions of the new elect US President Joe Biden, who has no intentions to let him continue his war games in specific areas. / news-politics PD
