The data are constantly CHANGING with the epidemiological evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic that has plagued the planet for more than a year, internationally every day.
However, there is a glimmer of hope, which is due – according to the scientists – to vaccinations but also to the effort to create ‘immunity’ in many countries which means that it takes more than 60-70% of the general population to be vaccinated.
Although the data and numbers vary by country, the general characteristics we present today regarding cases, deaths, inpatients and patients who are either in serious condition or fully recovering from the COVID-19, show signs of slight improvement.
The situation remains critical due to the variants and the continuous transmission in some countries such as India.
In any case, the COVID-19 is still here and we must be very careful and never forget to follow the instructions of the scientists.

On the other hand, vaccination is the hope of the humanity right now. Let’s hope that all countries -including the third world- will be able to have access to the vaccines soon.
